It’s already February - or as I call it, January It’s already February - or as I call it, January Take 2, because this is when I really start my year. I’ve figured out (finally) that the holidays are really emotionally rough for me and it takes all of January to recover. So here I am on February 1st, ready to tackle the year! Year of the tiger 🐅.

A: I don’t really make resolutions but I do make a list of goals and curiosities in six areas of my life. Each area has five or six items (I’m very ambitious!), but just to give you an idea, I’ll share one item from each list.

Personal Growth: Cultivate my current friendships and make one new friend.
.
Health - mental: Journal every day - of course using TAP IN: A Daily Practice for a More Creative, Focused and Joyful Life .
.
Health - physical: Eat more fish.
.
Leisure & Fun: Go to the beach more. It’s right here!
.
Learn New Things: Learn a new craft like weaving or knitting.
.
Work & Writing: Make five new contacts to help sell my screenplay.
.
Then I plot the goals by each month on a Google Sheet that I created because if it’s not an action item, it’s just a nice idea. At the beginning of each month I review the previous month - with kindness. This is key! I don’t beat myself up if I didn’t complete a goal. Instead, I review the goal. If it’s worth keeping, I move it to another month. If it no longer fits my life and curiosity, I let it go. No regrets!
