My vacation in Paris was filled with many wonderful days, but the day that we spent on a private champagne tour in Reims, France will always be one of my favorite memories.
And while I love traveling with my husband, he doesn’t like to shop for shoes and he probably thinks that I talk too much.
The Key Lime Pie at Lokal was amazing! Fresh, tart and creamy – just the way Key Lime Pie should be. It was the best Key Lime Pie that I have ever tasted.
I know you are thinking: “You took a family trip to Mardi Gras? Isn’t Mardi Gras just a bunch of drinking and partying? ” Well, yes and no.
Best of all were the Christmas huts throughout the city selling gifts, sweets, food and my husband’s favorite, vin chaud (hot wine).
It was a luxury to explore Paris alone. I took the metro to museums and sites, meandered along small streets, looked in tiny boutiques and tried to speak French.
